Well, the vet was trying desperately to get a hold of me, because it turns out that she does have a thyroid problem. And that's causing her asthma and some little something cardio something, which is fluid around her little feline heart. And he wanted her on meds like, yesterday, because that condition can get very bad very quickly, and she had been untreated for a long time.
So I drove out to her vet (45 minutes away) and picked up her medicine on NYE. I think she sounds less congested already, but I'm still worried.
Boy, does she hate her thyroid medicine; she's never even had to be pilled before, and not she gets squirts down her throat twice a day. She does enjoy the liverwurst that accompanies her pills, though. So do I.
