When you're trying to get in touch with someone and they turn their phone off, and even though they're showing on fb chat, don't talk back to you. Really lame. Haha.

He's not really avoiding, he's probably in his room, veging out over Jason Mraz and sitting on his phone. He's just terrible at onticing things like phones ringing or fb chat bubbles appearing.

Most people are probably terrible at onticing things to be honest though.

Noticing.

I'm pretty good at hearing that little "bloop" sound fb does when someone tries chatting with me, and have my cell phone on vibrate + ring so if I don't feel it the first time, I get the theme song for Batman. :)

I'm guilty of this. When I come home, sometimes (most of the time) I leave my phone in my jacket pocket. So I usually miss calls in the evening or weekends. I'll also leave my AIM account logged in at work when I'm not here. I've come in on Mondays to a bunch of unanswered IMs.

Seriously!

I always feel really guilty when I miss someone's text or call. I always frantically call back.

Don't really care... if it's an emergency, then they would know my land line number. it they don't know my land line number and it's an emergency, then it's probably somebody who wants a favor from me. (ride, bail, etc...)

It was for me that time my bro got held up at gun point and everyone thought I was in the area. My phone had died and no one could find me. lol

My mom and bf fucking panicked, thought I had gone missing or some shit. Really I was just late cause I was shopping. Guilt.

I hate people contacting me in general, which is why I have fb set to never show me as online. It's also why I'm rarely on AIM.

Oh, and if I'm playing video games online and someone calls me, that call will go unanswered and loudly swore at.

I also won't pick the phone up if I don't recognize the number. I just let voicemail triage that shit.

I'm always curious about them, i'm like, I don't have your number, who are you?
I guess I just like people calling me, and people being easy to get hold of.

I only answer say, 1 in 10 calls, even from people I know. It really enrages when I text them back askin what they want.

You know what bothers the shit out of me?

My boyfriend will occasionally answer a telemarketer call. Now, when this happens to me, I try to sound polite but firm, and say "Look, I don't want to waste your time, and I really don't want to waste mine, I'm not interested, take me off your call list, have a wonderful day."

On the other hand, he will allow them to do their full spiel, he will then consider the offer, get details from them, talk to them for a good five minutes only to finally say "maybe some other time."

WTF dude. Waste.of.time.

There are at least three people that I would rather text communicate with... because I know that if I call them they won't pick up. but if I text them, they'll get back to me eventually.

Also, I have to say I love Google Voice for my voicemail. it's amazing. I am also guilty of not checking my voicemail messages and just calling the person directly back, because it just takes too much time for me to hear "hey dude, it's so and so. call me back" fuck that. But with Google Voice, I can see what they're saying (or at least get an approximation) and listen to it on the computer or my phone without dialing in. fucking brilliant.

so that's another reason I let a lot of calls go to voice mail now.

Argh! The guy i'm trying to get in contact with fails horrendously, Kez went down to his house (He lives about 5 minutes from where Kez works) to see if he was around, and he must be asleep or out, either way he's a douchebag, He told me he'd be in all night, so to come round whenever.
Gah.
