So someone broke into my house friday evening. We think I got home while they were there because they didnt get too much. My roommates xbox 360 and his ipod touch. And my Nikon d70. They didnt take either Mac desktop, my guitar , my roland edirol(which was next to the xbox)or any other valuable.

But they did smash my bedroom window for some reason. Of all the windows they smashed they smashed the only one 12 feet off the ground, nothing to climb on. Then broke into a much easier window off the porch.

I'm honestly not that bummed. Yeah, I'm out a camera I had $400 into. But things are good. Tuesday I'm going to Minnesota to see my girl. We are opening for Titus Andronicus on monday. Possibly BRMC later this month. Buying a car in a couple weeks. Moving out of here soon.

Luke's funeral was yesterday. Sad, of course. But it was nice. A bunch of friends got up and played a few songs at the service. We all wore red. Then there was another memorial at one of the bigger clubs downtown. 500 people hanging out. Watching slide shows, looking at luke's art. Altogether nice.

i always had a much bigger issue with an invasion of privacy and the shit that got stolen from my house when people broke into mine.

shit's always replaceable. sorry to hear though, eric. at least it wasn't at gun point? <3

I honestly dont care right now. It was a nice camera but, fuck it. Its just stuff. I guess it happened at the perfect time though. Just a couple days before I leave town for a week. So I dont have to sleep in that house. I have NEVER been able to sleep there. I'm moving out at the end of the month.

I'm in Winona Minnesota. Which is a pretty nice town. Right on the Mississippi. With my girl. And sleeping. Actually sleeping. Finally.

We were going to yesterday, actually. We were just driving around, up and down 14. But she didnt remember which way it was. And we werent trying very hard to do anything in particular.

Hey, we did drive through Red Wing saturday on our way to Minneapolis. We ate at the Godfathers pizza in the antique mall thing. Worst pizza and worst service ever. But we just wanted a bite and didnt feel like turning around to go back into the downtown area. BEAUTIFUL fucking area. That entire drive up was really pretty.
