I didn't, but I do now. I tried growing some --pumpkins, not squirrels-- and only got two tiny ones and one decent sized pumpkin. Bugs were eating into them in the garden, so I picked them and set them on my table outside. Fucking squirrels completely destroyed one of the smaller ones and the big one. Ate big holes on either sides of them. They also bit into the other small one, but not so badly. I knew it wouldn't last until october, so...

I know dried blood keeps moles and chipmunks away from a garden, maybe it would work for squirrels, too? (for next season)

you can buy fox urine and that will keep away rodents. just make a perimeter. it works well.
