So what do you do in your free time? I know the answer for a few of you but not everyone.

For me, I work with art metal (mostly jewelry), stained glass, sewing, and cooking. I spend a lot of time drooling over new tools. Next up will be a larger torch and a dremel to make my metalwork easier.

Listen to music, play bass, play video games, bullshit on the internet, ride the bike.
I would like it if I could say bowling and paintball, but no one ever wants to do those things besides me.

I don't know if it counts as a hobby, but I do a lot of cleaning and organizing in my free time.

Hahaha. It does, if you do it too much.

I'm still trying to figure out how I managed to bowl a 197 one time. However, I have gotten to the point where I get the ball to curve. You need to be able to do that in order to hit the pocket and get those strikes. Also, it's imperative that one picks up those spares.

I usually have problems with my wrist or with drinking a few too many beers.

Bowling's awesome. I have my chick to thank for introducing me to it.

You know how when you bowl correctly, your right leg extends out and to the left behind you? That's why it hurts my crotch. We used to play 10 games in a night when I was in San Diego.
We would often be drunk and falling down on the lanes. Somehow those dudes I bowled with would either improve their game or keep it the same, while mine declined.
One night I bowled a 217 on my second game. By my last game I bowled a 96.

But yeah, bowling rules.

Somehow I have enough patience to to meticulous work on itty bitty things but when it comes to a game of bowling I can't seem to focus for more than a few frames at a time. I do it for fun and don't worry about my score too much.

I do get better when I practice though. The bloke and I live literally within a stone's throw of a bowling alley and we have shoes (and the bloke got me a ball for x-mas) but we don't go as much as we would like sometimes.

I too am an avid bowler (though not a good one). Never understood how people could drink while doing it. Other hobbies:
- cooking
- music
- building frames
- writing
- restoring furniture

I've read about you doing that before, I like that one! What metal is that and how did you make it (generally speaking)?
